Qi Gong and Tai Chi Instructor Kenneth Russell is back for a winter movement series at the Waterbury Library on Fridays beginning, Friday, January 3rd and running until February 28th. The first class, "Qi Gong Flow" runs from 10:15-10:45 and is a drop in class. The second class, "Tai Chi for Fall Prevention with Dr. Paul Lam" for both levels 1 & 2, can be done seated or standing and is especially suited for beginners and for older adults, runs from 11 o'clock until noon. This class requires a commitment to the full eight weeks, with the first day (January 3rd) being a demo day for folks to try out and see if the workout suits them. Class size is limited to 15. Registration is required for the Tai Chi class. For more information and to sign up, call the library at 244-7036.
